Bus or Coach – Cat D
Our Category D PCV driver training is designed for those looking to drive passenger vehicles with over 16 seats, including service buses, coaches, double-deckers, and bendibuses. The course runs over 5 days on a 2-to-1 training basis, with your practical test scheduled for the final day.
We use carefully selected training vehicles to make learning as smooth as possible. Throughout the course, you’ll get hands-on experience with the vehicle, build confidence behind the wheel, refine your driving style, complete reverse manoeuvre training, and prepare for the “show me, tell me” questions you’ll face in your test.
If you plan to use your PCV Category D licence for professional purposes—such as driving fare-paying passengers—you’ll also need to complete your PCV Driver CPC qualification. This is a legal requirement for anyone driving buses or coaches as part of their job.
