LGV/HGV Training – Cat C1
The Category C1 License qualifies you to drive vehicles over 3,500kg to 7,500kg, and is the first step in becoming a professional driver of a Light Goods Vehicle (LGV). You can also tow a trailer of no more than 750kg. The Cat C1 is therefore aimed at smaller goods vehicles, which are very easy to drive and similar to a large car or van. However, the C1 licence is less common, as many transport companies have moved to slightly bigger vehicles.
