Car and Trailer – Cat B+E
The Category B+E (Car & Trailer) licence qualifies you to tow trailers of up to 3,500kg in weight. Towing any type of trailer can be strange at first, as the vehicle handles differently when hooked-up to a trailer. You will need to gain knowledge and experience on reversing the trailer, uncoupling and re-coupling the trailer safely and correctly.
2-Day Course (10 hours):
2 days training and test on the second day
4 hours per day + 2 hours for test
For very experienced ‘B' license holders with at least 2 years of various driving with larger vehicles
3-Day Course (14 hours):
3 days training with test on the third day
For drivers no experience of towing or reversing – we recommend 3 full days of training
4 hours per day + 2 hours for test
